MAIN INTERESTS IN MEDICAL FIELDS

Trauma, resorbable osteosynthesis, reconstructive oral and maxillofacial surgery, deformity surgery, bone augmentation in pronounced boneatrophy, preprosthetic surgery and implant dentistry - as well microsurgery in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. TMJ disorders and pain ayndromes, cancer surgery combined with reconstruction free flaps.

Research and Development of a bone grafting material, which is produced commercially using porous Hydroxylapatite and inductive proteins.

Development of 3-D reconstruction models using stereolithography.

First clinical use of intraoperative navigation using augmented reality and the "VPS - Virtual Patient System" by Dr. Michael Truppe and the first live interactive tele-operations with these systems.

Development of the implant guide Camlog Guide navigation system.

First use of Bicon 4 x 5 mm ultra-short implants and metal-free Synthetic Pontic Constructions made of reinforced glassfiber in the CAD CAM method
